Palästina Solidarität Archiv is a volunteer-run grassroots movement archive established in 2023 to document the rising repression in Berlin and resistance to it.

We collect, catalogue and archive video footage, digital content, reports, posters, stickers, signs, objects, police and court letters, state communications and other kinds of movement material. We host exhibitions and events, share skills and knowledge about archiving. We work in German, English, and Arabic.

Our aim is to expose document and challenge the racism of the German state and media by tracing historical currents of solidarity with the Palestinian people through to the present day.

About PSA

Palästina Solidarität Archiv started as a project of Palästina Kampagne (formerly Nakba75) in 2023. Owing to the nature, scope and scale of the work, we soon invited trusted comrades from across Berlin’s Palestine solidarity movement to contribute labour and ideas.

Today we are a participatory volunteer project led by a core coordinations group and a wider network of members, independent from any single political group.

Why contribute?

The PSA collection is made up of thousands of individual submissions from people active in the movement, photographers, arrestees and their comrades.

Contributing your own photos, videos, letters, digital materials and other files or objects is an act of solidarity, one small way to help build counter narratives and ensure the reality of repression in Berlin and the fight against it are documented and supported.

Find out more details, including questions about credit, access, security and use of the collection and make a submission using our secure form here.

Accessing the Archive

Like many movement archives, we exist first and foremost to serve those experiencing and fighting repression. More than 11,000 police investigations and criminal proceedings have been initiated in relation to Palestine solidarity since October 2023.

We collaborate closely with activist groups and lawyers to make footage available for upcoming court cases. If you are a lawyer or defendant looking for documentation of an arrest, we can conduct a search on your behalf. If you have recieved a letter, first contact 3ezwa or European Legal Support Centre for legal advice.

For general inquiries, Palästina Solidarität Archiv is can be accessed in person by request and we welcome activists, researchers, writers, students, journalists, advocates and others in solidarity. In the footsteps of similar worldwide movement archives like bak.ma and 858.ma, PSA runs on the secure platform Pandora, which we can help you to navigate.
